About us
The key to my classes is building a strong bond with my students. All my students know me as Maru. I like to know everything about them and tell them about my travels and the sport I love: running. In our classes, you can use the Language in different real-life situations, depending on what you want to learn and with much humour. I am a very attentive teacher, paying attention to every detail to make your class unique. I am very organised and can motivate my students to reach their full potential in and out of the classroom. I have been teaching for more than 15 years; I have an official degree issued by the UTN; I am an English Teacher, a Literature Teacher, a Primary School Teacher and a Master’s Student in Translation.
My name is Romina (but everyone calls me Romi). I am an English Teacher at the tertiary level (LSCA) internationally certified (TEFL). As I love challenges, I also studied PR (UADE) and specialised in Tourism (UNEATLANTICO). I participated in 2 Work & Travel experiences in the USA and in 2014-2015 I was a Fulbright language assistant (Salve Regina University) in Rhode Island, USA. After that, I started to dabble in other areas and travelled to countries such as New Zealand, Vietnam, Thailand, Spain, Morocco, France, Italy, England, Ireland, Portugal and Croatia. My way of working is very interactive, emphasising speaking, fluency, laughter, games, use of natural material and most importantly… 100% in English because I believe immersion is the best way to acquire a language.
